Overview 

E3D Management Overview gives an overview of E3D with demonstration on how design and deliverables are achieved in E3D. This course is not an hands-on course. The objective of this training is to give Managers and Engineers an overview of E3D to facilitate organization planning and meaningful collaboration between the E3D users/administrators and the rest of the Engineers.

Introduction 

An introduction to E3D. An overview of the components of E3D and AVEVA Design Portfolio

and a look at architecture of the system.

3D Design

Looks at the E3D Design Module. Discuss the 3D view. Introduce to the main type of 3D components and how they are created. Ensuring Design is clash free will be discussed.

Catalogue and specific view

E3D Design is driven by catalogue and specifications. This section looks at how Catalogue and Specification is created and maintained

Reporting

Data can be extracted from the database as textual information in text documents, graphically as drawings and isometrics. It will look at the modules Reporting, Draft and Isodraft. In E3D, AVEVA newest Design offering, Draft has certain differences with Draw module of E3D.

Administration

Finally, we look at what do we need to administer the system and also discuss about customisation and interfacing etc.
