INTERsoft-IntelliCAD Plus 2026: A DWG Drafting Tool That Also Works in 3D Solids
Many of the companies we talk to still spend most of their CAD time in 2D: layouts, fabrication details, as-built updates and the occasional 3D check. For that kind of work, a full AutoCAD subscription for every seat is hard to justify. INTERsoft-IntelliCAD Plus 2026 is the version of IntelliCAD we recommend when a team needs native DWG drafting and also wants to work with real 3D solids, without paying a yearly subscription.
What the Plus version adds
True 3D solid modelling
Plus creates and fully edits ACIS solids, with union, subtract and intersect. That makes it practical for equipment outlines, brackets, clash checks and simple fabricated parts, not only 2D drafting.
Importing other people's 3D files
It brings in SAT solids, Revit models (RVT/RFA), IFC, STL, DGN, DWF, DAE and point clouds (RCP/RCS), and exports to SAT, IFC and STL. When a consultant sends a Revit or IFC model, you can open it and work from it directly.
Your existing AutoLISP routines
IntelliCAD runs AutoLISP, so the routines your team has built up over the years keep working. The 2026 release adds property functions such as getpropertyvalue and setpropertyvalue.
Native DWG
Drawings open and save in DWG, from version 2.5 to 2018, with dynamic blocks, tool palettes and the familiar command line. Staff who know AutoCAD can start work on day one.
PDF in and out
It imports and exports PDF, with publishing presets for issuing drawing sets.
New in 2026
The 2026 release adds a dark interface theme, QR code support, Esri imagery for mapping work, Revit 2025 file formats, SVG import, and commands that run up to 30 times faster than in the previous version.
Price and licensing
INTERsoft-IntelliCAD Plus 2026 is a perpetual licence: you pay once and own it, with no subscription. For a limited period, we are offering it at SGD 300 per licence, delivered by electronic download, with one month of complimentary email support from TDS Engr Solutions.
